The Sony World Photography Award, is the largest of its kind. For the competition of the year 2019 326.997 images from 195 countries and regions were submitted. The award is divided into the so-called Open competition and the National Awards, which, in turn, are divided into different categories.
Now, the winning images of National Awards. Bärbel Brechtel won the National Award for Germany. This prize was awarded in a total of 62 countries.
